If your water valve has a Run/Pause Switch, make sure it is on "Run". If it is, turn your pool pump off, and remove the lid to inspect the gears in water valve. The lid can be removed by unlocking the metal band around the valve. If there isn't a tee-handle, use a 7/16 inch socket. For Top-Feed Valves, unscrew the union on the feed line. Once the lid has been removed, examine the valve for any obstructions/debris lodged in the gears. If there isn't any debris, you will need to install a Valve Kit. In Floor Parts recommends upgrading your valve by installing the Retro Fit Water Valve Kit with Tsunami Clips.
