Unlike its predecessor, the Caretaker Polaris Ultra Flex II Water Valve is comprised of a molded housing. It is black, with vertical ridges along the side of its housing. This valve includes one feed line, which connects on the bottom, and eight separate zones, which come off the lower valve sides. It contains a metal control box located by the equipment, which is typically mounted on the wall by the clock/control panel. The UltraFlex II also includes a pressure switch with a pressure gauge located on a 2 inch T-Fitting plumbed after the filter.
